Leanne Mundy has over thirty years of experience working in Human Resources in the private and government sectors, and in Community Relations in the Non-Profit sector. As a Foreign Service spouse she has lived and worked in five different countries in Asia, Europe, the Far East, and Australia. This has provided a wonderful opportunity to interact and work with people in diverse cultural and linguistic environments. Most recently, Leanne has been working as a Senior Director with Employment, Enterprise and Newcomer Services at the National Capital Region YMCA-YWCA and is responsible for the two Employment Counselling Centres. The ECC provides service to all unemployed individuals in the region and the clientele represent the mosaic that is the reality in Ottawa today. Leanne has also participated in a number of committees within our community and is currently a member of the Algonquin College Access Project (ACAP) Community Collaboration Group and the Board of Directors for CISOC.
