Following the completion of degrees in International Development and Globalization and Juris Doctor, Jolyane was called to the Bar of Upper Canada in 2013. She has since worked as a lawyer in several areas of law and is very honoured to contribute to CISOC’s Board of Directors with her legal skills. Jolyane has always been active in the community: volunteering with the Catholic Centre for immigrants and Kairos Canada, among others. Jolyane has also always felt very strongly towards the idea of communicating with others in their first language and, as such, speaks fluently French, English and Spanish, along with some knowledge of Italian, German and Portuguese.
